Halloween Party

So Aiden had a really busy day with two parties to go to! After we left my sisters party we headed out to Collinsville to go the Savages annual Halloween party. This party is one serious halloween party! Tamri and her sisters go all out and always makes sure there is plenty of decorations, food, candy and treats for everyone! This party seems like it gets bigger every year. They always rent one of those mega blow up jumpathons. Last year they did a castle jumpathon and this year it was a huge 17 foot obstacle course with a huge slide. Aidens eyes lit up when he saw it! It was hard work for Todd and I cause Aiden wanted to go again and again and again! I am not sure how many kids were there but I know it was more than 15. They also have really good food for the adults and great entertainment. One of the previous baseball coaches from Memorial, his son comes out and plays and sings for everyone. He is really good and we always enjoy it!
Aiden loved this dog. He was not scared of it at all. I think he wanted to ride it!Here he is in his halloween pjs, but not ready for bed cause he has just had too much fun. I am sure he had dreams about slides that night!

Birthday Party

Well I mentioned that my sister celebrated her 30th birthday earlier this week and on Saturday Brad had a party for her. It was a lot of fun. I got to tease my sister about "mourning the loss of her 20's" and now being considered an elder! We had pizza and cake and then she opened her presents. It cracked me up. I guess that when you turn 30 (I wouldnt know, I am not there yet!), you need a lot of chocolate to keep your mind off how old you are. I think every present she opened had some kind of chocolate attached! Yet again teasing her about the lose of her 20's! Aiden was very hard to contain, but it didnt matter much cause the room was filled with people who love him. He was happy, his grandparents and other family were happy, and Todd and I were happy too, well sometimes we would get a little paranoid wondering what he was getting in to! But we all really enjoyed the party!

Don't Scare Me!

I am not really sure when Aiden learned to scare people, but I know it was his daddy who taught him. He loves his daddy and wants to be just like him, so I am sure that one day when Todd was trying to scare Aiden he picked up on it and has been scaring people ever since. Aiden's Aunt Carla was at the house the other day and she loves to get in the floor and play with him. He decided she needed to be scared. Here he is scaring his Aunt Carla. I laugh every time I watch this clip because of how his Aunt Carla and him are just laughing, having themselves a great time!

Not so much pet peeves, but

I was tagged by Lacey to list some of my pet peeves but I think I get to vent enough through out the day when I talk on the phone that I think I would rather list some of the things that I am most thankful for!

Family and Friends. Wouldnt life suck without having great family and friends. It doesn't even have to be something elaborate, just hanging out at the house or going to the park or even lunch/dinner makes for some wonderful memories!

Sharing! I am going through a program right now that helps people heal from any hurt habit or hang up they might have. I feel like every wed. night I have free counseling. CR is a great place to be! I love all the ladies in my class. Its only been a few weeks and we are all starting to bond!

Watching Aiden laugh! I have always said that childrens laughter is great for the soul but now that it is my own child their is nothing better than to hear him laugh! (I could make this entire list about him, but I will try to list other joys in my life as well)

Time off! I am really enjoying the time that I have off to spend it with Aiden!

Going on walks. The other night I really didnt want to take Aiden out for a walk but Todd insisted we go. I was so glad we did. It makes Aiden happy and its a nice chance for Todd and I to talk and not just be sitting in front of the tv.

Although I am thankful for friends who have tivo! I love it that if I do miss an episode of one of my shows, all I have to do is call stacy and she already has it tapped and waiting for the next time I come over!

Paypal, how great is paypal that if I owe someone money who also has a paypal account that is how I can pay them. No checks or cash or anything. Just sitting down at my computer and sending the money! I love it!

Honesty! I love that my mom and I can sit down and talk and have an honest conversation. Not that we didnt before or we lied to each other or anything, but I love the fact that I can tell her exactly how I am feeling and not worry about hurting her feelings. Although it may sometimes, she is not the type to hold a grudge! I even have had a few real honest conversations with my father lately and I feel like I have grown closer to him!

With that said I am thankful for my parents. I love them all and I know this is cliche but becomming a mommy made me realize its not an easy job. Especially when your parents are divorced. I am so thankful that I have such a great relationship with them both and my step mom too! I love you all!

Most importantly I am thankful for my Lord and Savior! He is the lover of my soul!

Ok so this is getting a little long, but I guess I am just one blessed girl who has a lot to be thankful for. Please if anyone has anything they want to share I would love to hear about your blessings!

Memaw and the Harmonica

I am sorry this clip is a little blurry and dark but I wanted to post him and his Memaw playing the harmonica!

All Boy

To say the least my child is all boy! Lately, Aiden has needed to show us just what little boys are made of! He was already throwing tantrums before this stage, but now they are serious tantrums! He gets really angry at me when I put him in the naughty spot. He pinches, pulls hair and hits! I am trying my hardest to let my no be no and my yes be yes, but it is getting harder every day! He is not a bad child by any means he is actually a really sweet child he just has an ornery side to him. He loves to dump all the clothes out of the laundry basket and play in them! Every time I try to put them back in, he is right there to take them right back out!

This morning after I got out of the shower, there Aiden was with all the toilet paper off the roll! He was having himself a good time. He is crying in this picture cause he thought he was in trouble. All I did was set him by it so I could take a picture. I think he was a little tired as well so anything can make him cry when he is tired.

The other day he also took the apple jack box (my fault for leaving them out and in a spot that his little fingers could reach them) and dumped all of them out. Then he preceeded to sit in the floor and throw them everywhere. He thought that was great fun. It made it even better when Emma joined the apple jack party. He wanted to see how fast she could eat and how far he could throw them that she would go to eat them! I wish I would have gotten a picture of it, but I was too busy cleaning up the apple jacks!

Special time with Brady!

I got the priveledge of being able to watch Brady two days this week. He is growing up so much and he is just so sweet! His little eyes just grab your attention and wont let go! We had a lot of fun with him. I think Aiden did too. We would ask Aiden to give Brady his binkie and he would do it. It was pretty sweet. They actually sat and played together as well!Brady is trying to crawl. He really wants to go places but he just cant do it yet. Here is a clip of him trying!

Here is a clip of him feeding himself the gerber cereal puffs. I didnt know if my sister had seen him do this or not an my brother in law told me they had, but I wanted to post it anyway for family who hasnt seen it!

I love you sweet Brady, thank you Brad and Kimberlee for letting me watch my sweet nephew!

Happy Birthday Kimberlee

Happy Birthday to my wonderful sister. She turned 30 today! Since I have been doing this on my blog now for family and friends birthdays, I will share with you a little bit about my sister. She is the best big sis anyone could have. She always looks out for me and always tries to take care of me. Growing up, I can always remember her making sure I had everything I needed! She is very thoughtful and she puts others before herself. She loves to teach and has such a heart for all of her students. She truly makes a difference in these kids! She recently became a mother and what a wonderful mother to Brady she is! She loves that little baby boy with all of her heart and Brady lights up when he sees his mommy! I hope you know how much I love and adore you sister dear! I will always cherish our relationship with each other! May we grow old together not only as close sisters but as great friends! Happy Birthday and I love you!

OU Sooners and Date Night

So I think Todd was a little sad last week when I got to go to the OU/Texas game. So we decided we wanted to go down this weekend to the OU/Missouri game. What a game it was. We had a lot of fun together. This is the first time that Todd and I have been to a game together in a long time. He usually gets to go to one game every year and take some of his players, and he has already done that this year. But we decided we needed some time together and this is something we really enjoy doing together! We rode down with my dad and stopped by a friend of his to have some chilli. WOW, this chilli was great but man it had a strong bite to it! I havent got to see my dads friends in a long time so I really enjoyed seeing them. We all rode to the stadium together! We got to sit with my dad where his season tickets are. He sits on the south end on the east side on the ten yard line second row up! They are really good seats cause you really feel like you are part of the action. I hope you enjoy the pics and videos and hopefully you can hear boomer sooner being played!
Here is Bob Stoops after he yelled at the refs for one of the stupid calls they made. I love to see him get mad!
We are really close to the pom and cheerleading squads as well. I am sure there are no complaints from Todd on that one!
Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit were at the game because OU hosted game day for ESPN. They were right in front of us. This is how close to the field we were!

This was at the end of the game and Todd and I both were tired! But we had a wonderful time together.

Fellowship Fun

When Todd and I moved to Owasso we got plugged into First Baptist Church Owasso. Once we decided we really enjoyed this church we got plugged into our Sunday School class. What a blessing finding this class has been. When we started attending there was only one couple who was pregnant and there wasnt any other couples besides our teachers who had children. Shortly after that Todd and I found out were expecting. It seemed like no time after that the babies started rolling in! Almost everyone in our class now has children and the few that dont love kids anyway. This class has meant so much to me. I have lots of friends now I can call and ask for advice or just talk to. We try to have fellowships often to just kick back and have some fun. Last Friday we all went bowling! Now I am not a bowler at all and I think Todd, Kelly and Shanetelly will agree to that since we were on the same lane, but we all had a great time! Four of us brought our babies and they had great fun as well! So to my Sunday School class, I am very greatful and thankful for all of you! Here are some pics of our fun evening! For anyone in the Owasso area looking for a great place to worship our Lord, and have great friends, our Sunday School is a great place to be!
Aiden was really trying hard to lift the ball. He couldnt but Parker on the other hand could! What a strong boy he is!This is Trebor and Sheryl our wonderful leaders! I am sure they had a wonderful evening since they got to get out with out their four children! Thank you both for all you do for our class!
The babies were having lots of fun!Toby and Seth were very serious about bowling so they rolled up their jeans to make sure they wouldnt trip on them!
I think Miss Lilly was trying to tell her mommy and daddy that she needed a diaper change. She actually grabbed a diaper, wipes, desitin, and the changing pad. What a smart girl she is. Here is Aiden trying to help her!Parker and Aiden found the locker room and they both loved it. They kept running in and out. Then they realized that when they made noised it echoed. They thought that was great! We had a really great time!
