Happy Birthday My Sweet Nephew
No pictures to show of my sweet nephew because we are in OKC right now but I wanted to say Happy first birthday to Brady Elijah Francis! What a sweet baby he is. I know my sister doesnt think of him as a baby anymore and I think none of us think of our own as babies once they hit this huge mile marker in their so very young life, but to me he still seems like the sweet precious baby he was the day he was born. He loves to jabber, get into things (or should I say everything), and is a baby on the go. I love it when he cries he pouches out his bottom lip and cries. He has done this ever since he was brand new and I thought he might grow out of it but I was hoping he wouldnt for a while because I think it is the cutest thing ever. I know this sounds mean but sometimes when he is with me I hope he does cry just so I will get to see it!!!! He loves his mommy and daddy very much. He doesnt want his mommy to leave him and I love to see how much he loves her! They are wonderful parents and have done such a great job with him this first year. Aiden loves his cousin very much. They have fun playing together. Although Aiden can be a little mean to him, but he always loves to give Brady kisses. These boys are going to have so much fun growing up together. So happy first birthday baby boy and I cant wait to see you tomorrow to give you hugs and kisses!

Finally

Finally the Memorial Chargers are headed back to state. For a lot of you reading this post I am sure this will bore you, but for me this is a big deal. Basketball season is very hard to start with considering my husband is gone pretty much 5 nights a week and even practice on Sundays from November to March. I begin to feel like a single parent and find myself really missing my husbands company. It seems like we are only together when we are asleep. We are both so very tired very early in the evenings that he does either have off or gets home early and we find ourselves going to bed by 9:00. I love basketball season and I enjoy going to the games. I am a crazy fan but for the most part its because I want my husband to do well. Its crazy the anxiety I get because I want him to win so bad. It has been a few years since we have been to the state tournament and we had a heart breaker on Friday night. We just didnt play all that well and we have had this curse on us for the past few years of loosing both games in the area tournament. Well tonight that curse ended. We beat Stillwater by 18! It was a great game and the boys played so well together. I was so proud of them. But I think what I loved most about it was that my husband couldnt wait to celebrate the win with Aiden and I!!! It feels so good for him to be so happy! It becomes very hard to come home with him after a loss because he takes it so hard and it is hard for me to see him that way. I am very proud of my husband and what he does and to finally make it back to the state tournament makes it all worth it!
