We love the pumpkin patch

Todd and I really enjoyed taking Aiden last year to the pumpkin patch, we knew we wanted to do it again this year. Aiden was only a few months old last time and he didnt really understand what we were doing. But this year was a different story. My sister knew that we were going to go again and asked if they could come along as well. I said sure! We all had a lot of fun at the pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful day and the boys were really good. Here are some pictures of this years pumpkin adventures!
I love this picture, they were giving each other kisses!

Sweet Kisses

Frosty Friends

When I saw that Lacey had posted pictures of Abbey in her penguin costume, I immediately knew that I wanted to get pictures of them together in their Arctic costumes! How cute would a polar bear and penguin be together. Well as you can see, really cute! She was so excited when I called and asked if we could take pictures of them together. I guess she knew just how cute they would turn out! So here are these frosty friends together in their winter wonderland! There are also a few of the polar bear by himself! Thank you Lacey we love them.

This costume just doesn't do miss penguin justice. It is much better to see her in person!

GRRR! Isn't he the cutest polar bear you have ever seen!

Feeding the Ducks

After we went back to Lacey's house, we took some pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes, had some lunch and then went to the duck pond. You know I am that paranoid mother who is afraid to let Aiden try anything that might hurt him, but Lacey assured me that the ducks wouldn't hurt him. You can hear me in the clip freaking out about the ducks getting him! This was a lot of fun and I am so glad we went. I think Lacey and I probably had more fun than the babies, well I don't know they both really liked the ducks. Abbey and Lacey go out there often so the ducks come running when they see them. There were two really aggressive ducks and seemed like they hadn't been fed in weeks, but Lacey and Abbey had just visited them a few days ago. I guess they just really like bread. They came right up to us. I let Aiden throw them some bread. He even let some of the ducks take it from him. OK, well I wouldn't say he let them, the ducks didn't care if he really wanted them eating out of his hand, but they were going to do it anyway! But he didn't cry or even get scared which really doesn't surprise me. Both babies even managed to keep some of the bread for themselves. I was worried the ducks were going to try to take the bread from their mouths, but they didn't, not to say the ducks didn't try. They just didn't succeed. Abbey and Aiden were sitting down at one point and a duck must have thought Aiden's Binky was some bread cause he tried to take it. It was quite funny, Lacey said she heard the ducks beak hit the plastic. One of the ducks was taking bread from Abbey and at that exact moment abbey pulled her hand in her sleeve, so it looked like it ate Abbey's hand. We had so much fun and the ducks ate all our bread. Thanks Lacey and Abbey for inviting us. We had a great time!

Silly Noises

Finally, I have been trying to upload this video for 2 days. So here it is!Aiden has always loved to make new noises. Here is a clip of me trying to get him to do one of his tricks and you will see at the end what he thinks of me trying to capture it on camera! Silly boy! As you will see We have our hands full! (if you get a black screen it will still play)

Pumpkin Patch

My friend Lacey called and asked if Aiden and I would join her and Miss Abbey at a pumpkin patch here in town. We said sure, we would love to. I am so glad we did cause we had a lot of fun. It was really cold so we didnt get to stay long, but the kids had fun while we were there. We went through a maze. Aiden and Abbey didnt so much care to really find there way out though! Lacey and I ended up carring them out! We decided to leave cause it was so cold and go back to Lacey's house. But I think they both enjoyed going to the pumpkin patch. I was sad that Lacey and I didnt get someone to take a picture of the four of us though! Oh well at least we have pictures of our babies having fun!

Open Gym

Since the first day that we found out we were having a boy, Todd started dreaming of the day to take him to the gym for games, practices and open gyms. He is finally to the age where Todd can take him. Sunday night he decided it was time. They had so much fun and Aiden of course loves all the balls! He is in heaven when he gets to the gym and is in amazement when he sees all the players in the gym. Todd really enjoyed taking him. He even took the camera and got a very short clip of him.

Laddies L.A.T.T.E

My friend Angela and I went to a ladies confrence last night at my church. It was great fun. My mom and her friend Cathy joined us as well. We had dinner and got to chat for a while. Then we got to do a small craft and make our own personalized journal. We then had break out sessions and we got to choose two topics that we wanted to listen to. I chose to go to working women: having it all and Flavor Robust: Women's issues from mans point of view. Angela went to the latter one with me and she went to family: how to really interact with your family. My mom and Cathy went to the same ones I did. They were all really good and we all had a wonderful time. After our breakout sessions we had a video speaker, Angela Thomas. She was amazing. She talked about laying our life completely to God on the altar. Choosing to lead lives that are fully pleasing to the Lord. Man it was good. I am so happy that Angela came with me. I think we all took so much from it. It was also good to just have a womens fellowship!

Am I out of my mind?

I wish I could share with you all the picture I took on my cell phone yesterday. I was brave and took both boys to Wal-Mart. Surprisingly, it wasnt bad at all. They were both very good. They both sat up front. They each got one of the leg holes and they sat kind of sideways to make it work. I think it actually helped Brady cause he had some extra padding in Aiden to help him out. Several people stopped me and told me that I had my hands full. I know they were thinking this girl is nuts for having those babies that close together! But I really didnt mind cause they were really good. It almost makes me consider having another one, well I dont think Todd and I would get that lucky to have two really easy babies! But who knows maybe we will!

Flavor Robust

Lately, I think I have been so focused on everything else but my husband. I went to a ladies confrence that reminded me, our love is not a given, its a form of work and its something to be cherrished and nurtured. Its not just him or me who is supposed to make the effort, it is both of us. Our relationship is always supposed to carry that Flavor Robust! So I love you Todd Anderson more than the day we met, more than the day we married, and more now than ever! I look at our son and see a product of both of us, not just one. He is this mixture that only comes from what we share. I think I do a good job of posting about the things we do with Aiden together but tonight I want to post some pics of just us! I look forward to what the next 50+ years holds for us! I love you baby!
