Night Splash

We all enjoyed a very fun evening with the Austins and the Howells at night splash. What fun the boys had and the adults too. We started out at the little splash area where the boys enjoyed all the slides and just playing in the water. We all went over to the wave pool where the boys were a little unsure at first but then decided it was great fun and they wanted to see how far they could go. Chris got the whistle blown at him from some life guard telling him to take Hunter closer to the front and Todd got the whistle blown at him for dunking Aiden. We laughed cause its our children but they were just doing their jobs! The girls decided to let the boys hang out with the babies while we went down some slides. We had fun and of course we returned the favor and let the guys do the same. The boys were sad to leave all the slides and didnt want the fun to stop, but we managed to get out of there with minimal tears and surprisingly no tantrums on Aidens part. What fun we had and we will hopefully be going back before summers end!

doesnt get much better than this huh Eli!!!

like father like son!!!!

Brady spends the night

Mr Brady Francis finally got to spend the night with us. I love to get the boys together because they always have so much fun. Brady is now at the point where he can fight back and not let Aiden run all over him. We had a great time with him. We let the boys swim and had hamburgers with my mom, aunt, and uncle and then after they left we took the boys to the park. When we came back they watched Aristocats and then went to bed. Brady woke up three times but I think it was just because he wasnt exactly sure where he was. The boys woke up around 9:00 and Todd had already went to the donught shop. This was Brady's first time to experience donught holes and strawberry milk. The child was in heaven to say the least. Here are some pics and a video clip.

and according to my husband Brady's mommy and daddy have been neglecting him not telling him about donughts and pink milk.

Awwww Mexico

This was our beautiful resort. We had quite the mishap when we arrived but after a few long hours, us stressing and the boys doing some great negotiating we ended the day on a positive note and a few more full days of paradise to enjoy.

This was the private pool for the Royal Suites guests. It was very nice to have a private pool and we used it a lot! Brandi and I camped out pretty much the entire week in these water chairs. I loved them and still miss them. This was the spa pool. It was gorgeous to say the least. I was very impressed with all the free spa amenities available. Todd also enjoyed the freezing cold spa, he said it helped him relax. See picture below! This area was very nice. The pressure of the water created a force to massage my neck and shoulders while I relaxed in the jetted spa pool.

We tried to enjoy a round of mini golf, but it was in the middle of the day at probably the hottest part of the day. We gave up after 4 holes. But we had fun while it lasted.

awwww....so in love.....Happy 6 years to us!
Chris and Brandi are the lovely couple that we joined on this wonderful vacation. We had a great time with them. I am glad we have spent more time with them and we consider them good friends whom we hope to have many more great times with.

And all of you know that my husband does not drink and neither does Chris, so no this picture is not due to intoxication. They are just special in their own ways!

We had dinner one night at a great Japanese Steak House. Brandi was very excited this night and wanted to be spontaneous. Hence the picture with the umbrellas. I also tried sushi for the first time here. Stacy has been wanting me to try it for a long time. So I tried a California Roll and I actually really liked it!

Got to love snorkeling pics. They are my favorite. I think this is like our third snorkeling pics we have. They are so much fun! We had a great time snorkeling. For me this was the best time ever. I didn't fight it at all and really enjoyed seeing everything. We saw lots of sea turtles and a baby sea turtle (like the ones on Nemo! Cucu-a-choo dude) We saw some sort of shark, sting rays, a huge school of fish, a flounder, and lots of really exotic fish.

and with every vacation we take we always have to have the close up pics we take ourselves.

this one was actually in our hot tub that was on the balcony of our suite. we enjoyed sitting in it at night listening to the ocean.

and here is the last pic of us in Mexico. This was taken at like 4 in the morning before we left. We were so tired and didn't want to leave. But we had a great time and we cant wait to go back!

Happy Anniversary

6 years ago today I married the love of my life. Life has had its ups and downs but without my husband life would seem empty. He is such a Godly man and loves us dearly. He is a wonderful husband and father. I knew when I started dating him that he was different than any guy I had dated before and he was worth hanging on to! Sure there are days he makes me crazy but there are more days that he makes me fall in love with him all over again and I know there are days I drive him nuts but he loves me anyway. He is thoughtful, generous, and takes care of me. Although he forgot today was our actual anniversary we just got back from an amazing tropical vacation where we spent the week just being with each other. We had a great time and it was nice for us to just spend time with each other. I am truly blessed and cant wait to see where the next 6 years takes us. I love you very much Todd!

Happy Belated Birthday

I know being busy is no excuse so here is my belated blog birthday post for two of the sweetest people I know.

Happy Birthday Sarah! you are such a sweet person. You have a heart of gold and our friendship means a lot to me. She always gives and never asks any thing in return. She loves to do whatever she can to help out in any way. She is a great mom and I love seeing her with Eli. Eli is the second belated birthday wish. Happy second birthday sweet boy. Aiden and Eli have been in the same Nursery/preschool class since they were infants. I met Eli before I met Sarah and this child captured my heart when he was tiny. This child talks with his beautiful eyes and is so sweet and loving. Its a good thing this sweet child is tall because he is so laid back that it never seems to bother him when my child wants to attack him. Aiden always wants the toy Eli is playing with and Aiden will take it from him ( bratty I know, you figure his parents would be fixing that one!!! hehe) but Eli just lets him have it but he watches for the second Aiden drops it and Eli goes right back to it. All the boys play really well together and I love that we have such great friends to watch our children grow up together.

So Eli may your second year be better than your first! and to Sarah may this year your dreams come true. May you know what a blessing you are and may you know that the good Lord is with you!!!! I am so thankful for you!
